Applications for Nursery

Maintained schools in Hertfordshire are now responsible for the admissions of children to Nursery in 2018-19 and onwards.

The Dacorum schools are working together to ensure the process is the same in each school and that parents receive consistent information that will enable them to make informed decisions about their preferred nursery school.

The timeline for the nursery admissions process is published below and further information regarding the open mornings and the procedure for applying is also outlined below.

The process for parents applying for Nursery places for 2019-20 will open on Monday 4th February until Friday 15th March at 10am. Forms will be available (above) from the 4th February and parents will be required to complete the forms, with accompanying documents and either send them by post or hand them in to our school office. You can also pick up a pack from the school office.  Applications can be received at any time after this point but will be dealt with after on time applications.

Nursery places will be offered to families via email on 29th April at 10am.  The deadline for accepting a Nursery place is Monday 13th May.  From 13th May onwards we can continue to accept applications and allocate Nursery places to children, based on availability.

30 places are available for morning sessions starting September 2019, for children born between 1st September 2015 and 31st August 2016.

Our school offers 15 hours free for all children, 9am to 12pm 5 days a week and an additional 5 hours per week, 9am-1pm daily for those children who are eligible for 30 hours free. Please note we offer 20 hours per week and not the full 30 hours.

For those that are eligible, they will attend our Munch Bunch lunch club for the extra hour, but parents must provide them with a packed lunch.
