Nursery Admissions 2018

Governors At St Albert The Great

Applications for Nursery

Maintained schools in Hertfordshire are now responsible for the admissions of children to Nursery in 2018-19 and onwards.

The Dacorum schools are working together to ensure the process is the same in each school and that parents receive consistent information that will enable them to make informed decisions about their preferred nursery school.

The timeline for the nursery admissions process is published below and further information regarding the open mornings and the procedure for applying is also outlined below.

The process for parents applying for Nursery places for 2018-19 will open on the 5th February until 16th March. Parents will be required to complete the above forms, with accompanying documents and either send them by post or hand them in to our school office. You can also pick up a pack from the school office.  Applications can be received at any time after this point but will be dealt with after on time applications.

Nursery places will be offered to families via email on 25th April.  The deadline for accepting a Nursery place is 4th May.  From 4th May onwards we can continue to accept applications and allocate Nursery places to children, based on availability.

St Albert the Great School has a 30 place Nursery.

30 places are available for morning sessions starting September 2018, for children born between 1st September 2014 and 31st August 2015.

Our school offers 15 hours free per week (9am-12pm) for every 3-4 year old in nursery, with an additional 5  hours free for those who are eligible (20 hours per week in total).
