Our Learning (Year 4)

Governors At St Albert The Great

We are having a wonderful time in Year 4 with lots of different learning opportunities at our wonderful school!

In English, we are busy with a Non-Fiction Persuasive Writing unit.

In Maths, we are working hard with various multiplication and division skills. As well as LOTS of focus on our times tables!

In RE, we are reflecting on Lent. This is part of the Liturgical Year when people unite themselves in Christ in order to grow in self-discipline through the practices of prayer, fasting and alms giving.

In Science, we’re investigating how materials change their state (solids, liquids and gases) and will dig deeper into the water cycle.

In History, we’ve gone back in time to the Stone Age! We’re slowly moving onto the Bronze Age and Iron Age.

Pupils also take part in many extra-curricular activities such as PE lessons, swimming lessons, lunch clubs and drumming to name a few.

If you require any revision work for your child in a specific areas or subject, please let me know.  I am happy to provide appropriate worksheets.
