We recognise that some of our pupils are not always emotionally ready to learn when they come to us and require an increased level of support for them to access the wider curriculum. For this reason, we offer a Nurture Group for key pupils to support their social and emotional development.

Our Nurture Groups take place in the Rainbow Room.  The small group  offers safe a and nurturing environment, with activities structured to the emotional and social  needs of each pupil.  It is  a predictable, calm and purposeful environment where positive relationships are modelled, and language and communications skills are developed.  Our Rainbow Room is set up with a role play, a quiet area and areas for structured activities to take place.
